2025 was a year of remarkable growth and transformative impact for the International Leadership Foundation (ILF) Nigeria. Guided by our mission to cultivate emerging leaders across sectors, we championed programs that built skills, character, and purpose among professionals, educators, and youth, empowering them to become agents of positive change.
Forging Strategic Partnerships and Leadership Engagement

Our commitment to transformational leadership reached new heights through strategic collaborations. In February, ILF Nigeria partnered with the Olusegun Obasanjo Leadership Institute, aligning our vision to nurture a wider community of transformational leaders across national and international platforms. This partnership strengthens our ability to create sustainable leadership frameworks that transcend borders.

That same month, ILF Nigeria was honored to contribute to the Plateau State Annual Executive Retreat, where Prof. Dela Adadevo shared practical insights on transformational leadership with His Excellency Barr. Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang and his Executive Council. The retreat focused on strategies for effective governance and accountable leadership, setting the tone for stronger public service in the region.

In the corporate sphere, we facilitated a two-day strategic leadership and value reorientation program for TeasyPay, equipping 23 staff members with tools to enhance teamwork, ethical decision-making, and personal growth within a dynamic tech environment.
Developing Leaders Across Sectors
Two cohorts of emerging leaders graduated from our LADS programs, one in Jos and another at Bethany Christian Academy, Barkin Ladi. Beyond acquiring leadership skills, both cohorts executed meaningful transformation projects:
- The Jos cohort led an environmental sensitization campaign at Plateau State Specialist Hospital, donating waste bins and gloves while educating the community on proper waste management.
- The Bethany Christian Academy cohort renovated the school’s gym and studio, creating accessible spaces that foster student engagement and recreation.

Our Teachers’ Professional Advance Training (TPAP) in Kaduna empowered over 30 educators to integrate leadership principles into classroom teaching, ensuring that leadership development begins at the grassroots and influences generations to come.
At the VLADS Youth Camp in Abuja, seven teenagers gained hands-on experience in leadership, teamwork, and service, learning lessons in integrity, resilience, and community contribution.

Milestones and Impact
- Our programs reached diverse sectors, fostering ethical, service-driven leadership.
- Transformation projects generated measurable community impact, from environmental sensitization to school renovations.
- Strategic partnerships strengthened ILF Nigeria’s influence, both nationally and globally.

Looking Ahead to 2026
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to partners, facilitators, and staff for making 2025 a year of tangible impact. In 2026, ILF Nigeria will expand youth initiatives, deepen corporate leadership programs, and continue shaping leaders who serve with integrity, vision, and purpose. Our commitment remains unwavering: to inspire leaders who uplift communities and drive meaningful, lasting change.
