ILF — the International Leadership Foundation — is a leadership and personal development organisation committed to raising transformational leaders. ILF Nigeria is the Nigerian affiliate, registered as the Dela Adadevoh Leadership Foundation and launched in Abuja in May 2022.

We design and deliver leadership programmes, seminars, training sessions, mentorship experiences and coaching — focused on helping people discover their potential and build real leadership capacity across five programme tracks.

Students, young professionals, educators, corporate teams, public-sector leaders, faith leaders and community leaders. That includes schools, universities, businesses, agencies, congregations and NGOs.

We do not treat leadership as a title or a position. We teach leadership as a way of thinking, living, serving and influencing others positively — which means we start with character and mindset, not technique.

The 12Cs of Transforming Leadership is ILF’s core leadership framework. It anchors our curriculum across every track and was introduced to Nigerian participants at the Singapore Experience Summit held in Abuja in April 2024.

Practical. Every track combines facilitated learning with real-life application and structured reflection, and most finish with an applied project — a governance project, a workplace capstone or a community-transformation project.

Yes, in two ways: TPAP develops the leadership capability of teachers and school leaders, and Y2L runs leadership labs and clubs for students aged 11 to 25. We also work with colleges of education and education directorates.

Yes. Content, examples, duration and delivery style are all adapted to your sector, audience and objectives. Contextualisation is central to how we work rather than an optional extra.

Through programme delivery, co-hosting a cohort, sponsorship, curriculum support, event hosting, mentorship involvement or institutional collaboration. Get in touch and we will shape something specific.

Yes. We offer personalised coaching for professionals, emerging leaders, executives, educators, faith leaders and young people. You can request a session from the Book Coaching page.

We operate from two hubs: Abuja (No. 6 Omenai Street, H.B. Close, Kado Estate, FCT) and Jos (No. 10 Secretariat Road, Plateau State). We also offer virtual consultations.

Volunteers support mentorship, programme coordination, communications, events and facilitation. Express your interest on the Volunteers page and a coordinator will follow up with current needs in Abuja or Jos.

By funding programmes, sponsoring participants, supporting school initiatives, investing in curriculum materials, or backing events and research. Sponsorship makes Y2L participation possible for young people who could not otherwise attend.

ILF Nigeria’s focus is Nigeria, but we are part of a global network. ILF Global has equipped more than 26,000 leaders across 18 African nations, Europe, Latin America, the Caribbean and Asia since 2003.

To become Nigeria’s foremost catalyst for leadership excellence and character-driven transformation across all sectors — raising a generation of leaders who lead with purpose, integrity, wisdom, discipline and service.
